Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• One year of school nutrition experience preferred.

• Completion of GaDOE Manager Pathway and Culinary Pathway within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs as acting manager in the absence of the School Nutrition Manager.
• Oversees daily food service operations to meet menus and USDA regulations.
• Maintains inventory, orders supplies, and ensures food quality and safety.
• Prepares documentation and reports; handles end-of-day tasks and deposits.
• Schedules staff and ensures coverage during meal service.

Education

One-year experience in school nutrition

Valid Driver's License

Current ServSafe Manager's Certification
