Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
• College courses in Nutrition/Management preferred
• Texas/ANSI Food Service Manager Certification required
• Valid Texas driver’s license with safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of facilities (5 or fewer) including staffing and training
• Monitor labor costs, inventory, and cash receipts; report findings
• Communicate day’s activities to supervisor in a timely manner
• Evaluate employee performance and address deficiencies
• Observe meal service and work across multiple schools as needed
• Respond after hours for meetings, events, or audits of meal programs
