Spring Branch Independent School District is seeking an Area Supervisor for School Nutrition Services to lead and coach managers across multiple campuses, ensuring compliant, efficient, and customer-focused operations in line with USDA and Texas regulations.

The role requires strategic oversight, strong financial acumen, and proactive people leadership to develop high-performing teams within the district's nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Food and Nutrition, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible food service management or equivalent leadership experience.
• K-12 school nutrition or multi-site food service experience preferred.
• State of Texas or ANSI accredited Food Service Manager's Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly observe operations to evaluate workflow, service speed, food quality, presentation, and customer experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and policies governing School Nutrition Services programs.
• Coach and monitor managers on scheduling, records, inventory, HACCP, and compliance standards.
• Use financial data to evaluate participation, staffing, productivity, and cost; develop improvement plans.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and training programs.
• Support cross-campus collaboration and leadership development.
