Frontier Cooperative in Nebraska seeks a Director of Nutrition Operations to lead feed mill, warehouse, distribution, and delivery functions, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting growth. You will coach a team of 10+ employees, develop production plans, optimize inventory, and coordinate with distributors to meet customer needs in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in a dynamic operations setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, nutrition manufacturing, production, warehousing, or a related field.
• Experience leading a team of 10+ employees.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Experience overseeing multiple operational functions, departments, facilities, or locations.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA requirements and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in feed mill and warehouse environments and provide hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop employees across feed mill, warehouse, distribution, and delivery operations.
• Manage production, inventory, and warehouse priorities to meet customer and distributor needs.
• Coordinate production priorities with inventory, customer orders, distribution needs, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and housekeeping standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee fleet, driver performance, Samsara monitoring, and DOT/FMCSA compliance.
