Chattanooga State Community College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Nutrition within the Hospitality & Culinary Arts program. The primary responsibility is instruction of the assigned Nutrition course.

The instructor will deliver classroom instruction, prepare materials, evaluate student performance, maintain accurate student records, and communicate course expectations and progress to students and appropriate college personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Nutrition, Food Science, or related field.
• Professional experience in culinary arts, hospitality, foodservice, nutrition, or related industry.
• Knowledge of fundamental nutrition concepts and their application to foodservice and culinary operations.
• Ability to communicate course content and instructional expectations.
• Ability to deliver classroom instruction and evaluate student performance.

Responsabilités

• Teach assigned Nutrition course content in accordance with course requirements.
• Prepare and deliver effective classroom instruction using appropriate materials.
• Connect nutrition concepts to practical applications in culinary arts, hospitality, and foodservice.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
• Communicate progress to students and college personnel.
• Complete required instructional and college training.
