Job summary

Chattanooga State Community College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Nutrition within the Hospitality & Culinary Arts program. Primary responsibility is instruction of the assigned Nutrition course.

The instructor will provide classroom instruction, prepare and deliver course materials, evaluate student performance, maintain accurate student records, and communicate course expectations and progress to students and appropriate college personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Food Science, or a closely related field.
• Professional experience in culinary arts, hospitality, foodservice, nutrition, or related industry.
• Ability to effectively communicate course content and instructional expectations.
• Availability to teach the assigned course during the scheduled class periods beginning October 12, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Nutrition course content in accordance with established requirements.
• Prepare and deliver engaging classroom instruction.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate course progress to students and college personnel.
