Job summary

Responsibilities include transporting meals, managing inventory, documenting receipts, and coordinating with kitchen staff while adhering to CACFP, ISBE, and health department standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 1–5 years experience in food delivery, warehouse, or inventory.
• Knowledge of food safety and inventory control practices.
• Food service sanitation license preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs consistently.
• Basic math, documentation, and recordkeeping proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals in temperature-controlled vehicles following safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory levels and track usage and expiration dates.
• Receive vendor deliveries and complete logs and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with CACFP, ISBE, health department, and BGCLC standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff on supply needs and menu accommodations.
