Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a friendly Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, maintain high standards of taste and presentation, and work closely with staff to ensure resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include upholding food safety and sanitation guidelines, assisting with inventory and ordering, and delivering excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Vaccination policy compliance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
