Job summary

PruittHealth - Raleigh in North Carolina is looking for a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist in food preparation and tray service for residents, under the supervision of the Food Service Manager. You will follow approved recipes, support the Cook, and help ensure meals meet nutritional and safety standards.

Responsibilities include following diet orders, maintaining cleanliness, serving meals, recording temperatures, and participating in ongoing training to protect resident health.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year institutional food service experience.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary orders.
• Knowledge of safety and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to work under supervision and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation and tray line service.
• Follow diet orders and serve nourishments per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas and dining spaces.
• Record temperatures and monitor storage and leftovers.
• Assist with stocking and proper food substitutions as needed.
