Job summary

Holy Cross Head Start, Inc. is seeking a Nutrition Services leader to organize and oversee the Nutrition Service Area at all program sites. You will develop monthly menus, coordinate assessments and referrals, and supervise food service staff.

The role requires a BS in nutrition or a related field with CACFP knowledge and experience in institutional food service. English/Spanish language helpful for collaboration with diverse communities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in related nutrition or dietetic field with case management experience.
• Two years work experience in institutional food service and knowledge of accommodating special diets.
• English/Spanish helpful.

Job description

Coordinate and implement systems to ensure proper assessment and referrals for nutrition services.

Supervision and training of food service staff.

Works collaboratively withHoly CrossManagement Team, Community Members, staff and parents.

Administration, management and monitoring of Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Qualifications

BS degree in related nutrition or dietetic field with case management experience. Two (2) years work experience in institutional food service and knowledge of accommodating special diets. Demonstrated ability to work with persons from varied educational, economic and cultural backgrounds. Thorough working knowledge of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). English/Spanish helpful.

Requirements

A thorough Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check will be conducted. Must have own transportation in order to perform thejob.
