This role also coordinates and administers the nutrition component of the program. Additionally, Oversees nutrition services for enrolled children and their families, including children with special dietary needs. Responsibilities include planning and approving menus for full-day and part-day programs serving children from six weeks to five years of age, monitoring food service quality and delivery, and managing the agency’s participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
