The position requires strong call center experience and excellent customer service skills. The role features 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and an emphasis on accuracy, hygiene, and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in call center or patient communication environments.
• Strong interpersonal and phone etiquette skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Secure patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face-to-face interactions.
• Provide menu alternatives within dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
• Address patient concerns promptly or escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Coordinate with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions and patient food needs are met.
• Comply with HIPAA and facility confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines during food distribution and handling.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
