Responsibilities

• Secure patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or in person.
• Follow proper etiquette with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
• Offer menu alternatives within diet restrictions and preferences.
• Respond to patient needs and resolve concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions and needs are met.
• Adhere to HIPAA and facility confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety and distribution.
• Complete reports as required by policies.
