Job summary

Jobtailor in Everett, WA seeks a WIC Clerk to enroll participants, process terminations, orientations and benefit delivery while maintaining client files.

You will perform basic nutrition education, assess participant risk, and refer clients to health or community services. Clerical duties include reports, records, and monthly statistics to support program operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year WIC Clerk experience or WIC program preferred.
• Interest in basic nutrition and childhood development.
• Complete Minimum Paraprofessional Competencies within WIC guidelines.
• Annual TB test required; BLS CPR within 90 days of hire and maintained.

Requirements

• High School or GED diploma.


• One year previous experience as WIC Clerk and/or in WIC program desired.


• Interest and experience in basic nutrition and childhood development desirable.


• Completion of the Minimum Paraprofessional Competencies (a set of standards defined by Washington State WIC Program) within guidelines set in WIC/Nutrition Policies and Procedures.


• Must have and maintain a TB test annually.


• This position must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and is required to maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
