Job summary

US Pharma Lab in North Brunswick, NJ, is seeking an Associate, R&D Formulation to join the R&D team. This hands-on role advances from technician to Formulator -1, leading formulation experiments and supporting process development and scale-up.

You will maintain compliant documentation, collaborate with senior staff, and contribute to manufacturing readiness while growing technical ownership of formulation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D formulation, pilot-scale manufacturing, or related roles.
• Strong documentation, organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support formulation development for new products and optimization of existing ones.
• Operate and maintain R&D and pilot-scale equipment and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Prepare and review technical and customer-facing documents, shipments, and data records.
