Responsibilities

Assist in providing a safe, engaging learning environment with the classroom teacher.
Assist with clerical duties such as typing, filing, and reports.
Prepare class materials and activities with the teacher.
Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce material.
Assist with lunch, personal care, and daily routines as needed.
Support substitute teachers and supervise group activities.
Develop and reinforce learning materials and appropriate behaviors.
Participate in in-service training.
