Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc is seeking a loving Infant Room Teacher for Pre-K Preparatory Learning Academy to provide attentive care and support each baby’s development in a safe, nurturing classroom. You will interact with infants through talking, singing, reading, floor play, sensory activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences.

The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, energetic, and comfortable communicating with families while collaborating with co-teachers and administration to ensure

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with staff, children, and families.
• Strong understanding of child development and safe practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Must pass full background check.
• Ability to observe milestones and document progress accurately.
• Demonstrates leadership, organization, and teamwork.
• Willingness to communicate with families via a childcare app.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, clean, nurturing classroom for infants.
• Talk, sing, read, play, and interact to support development.
• Plan and participate in sensory, movement, music, and early learning activities.
• Provide supervised floor play to support physical development.
• Change diapers and maintain feeding, diapering, and sleep records.
• Keep infant areas clean and sanitized.
• Communicate professionally with parents about daily progress.
• Observe milestones and report concerns to leadership.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and administration for supervision.
• Follow all policies and licensing requirements and participate in training.
