Pre-K Preparatory Learning Academy is seeking an attentive Infant Room Teacher to provide nurturing, development-focused care for our youngest learners. You will support each baby's routines, engage through singing, reading, and play, and collaborate with a caring team to create a safe, loving classroom.

The role emphasizes building trust with families, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to Georgia childcare licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Infant care experience in licensed setting preferred.
• Excellent communication with families and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, clean, nurturing classroom environment for infants.
• Talk, sing, read, and engage with infants to promote development.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate sensory and early learning activities.
• Provide supervised floor play to support physical development.
• Record feeding, diapering, and sleep routines accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the classroom and toys.
• Communicate with families about their child's day and development.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to ensure coverage and safety.
• Follow center policies and Georgia childcare licensing requirements.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
