Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a child care setting preferred.
• Must complete TB screening and physical within 10 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with planning and implementing educational programs.
• Conducts daily health checks on each child.
• Attends parent meetings and informs parents of children's progress.

Skills

Knowledge of child growth and development

Developmentally appropriate practices

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Education

DCF 45-hour training
