Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church preferred.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background checks.
• Ability to complete 10 hours of in-service training each fiscal year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support instructional and non-instructional staff.
• Implement discipline policy and monitor staff interactions with children.
• Assist with daily operations per Florida DCF standards.

Skills

Knowledge of governmental and educational standards

First Aid and CPR certification

Computer software skills (MS Office, PDS)

Effective communication skills

Ability to read and interpret regulations

Education

High school diploma or GED

DCF 45-hour training

National CDA and VPK endorsed Director's credential
