Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting or strong willingness to learn.
• Must pass all background checks and meet DECAL requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stay actively engaged.
• Team-player attitude with a love for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons using the Frog Street curriculum.
• Assist with caregiving tasks including diapering, toileting, and meal routines.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist with classroom management and encourage positive behavior.
• Supervise children during indoor/outdoor times, meals, rest time, and transitions.
• Foster relationships with students and families through kind, professional interactions.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies.
