Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. This full-time role requires customer service experience and offers a pay range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, with rotating weekends and varied shifts.

You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble meals accurately, and ensure timely delivery while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to accommodate allergies, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient choices and retrieve trays on time.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and sanitation policies and guidelines.
• Monitor tray line and ensure meals are delivered at correct times and temperatures.
