Job summary

Brockton Post Acute Care is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit, ensuring residents receive comprehensive, person-centered care.

This full-time daytime role reports to the Director of Nursing and involves clinical leadership, policy implementation, incident reporting, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements include MA RN or LPN license, valid BLS, at least five years nursing experience and two years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA RN or LPN license.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college preferred.
• Minimum five years nursing experience.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in nursing care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to maximize physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate with follow-up to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
