Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Unit Manager for its 170-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility. The role oversees nursing operations on an assigned unit to deliver patient-centered care.

The candidate must hold an RI RN or LPN license, have BLS CPR, and bring at least five years of nursing experience with two years of supervisory experience. The job offers full-time hours, a 7-3 schedule, and competitive salary.

Qualifications

Licensed in Rhode Island as RN or LPN.
BLS CPR certification required.
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Minimum five years of nursing experience.
Minimum two years supervisory experience in nursing care settings.

Responsibilities

Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible functioning.
Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting with follow-up to the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care.
