Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in Rhode Island.
• BLS CPR certification is required.
• A nursing degree is preferred.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in nursing care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for resident care on the assigned unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to optimize physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely incident reporting with follow-up to leadership.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in developing and evaluating policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor care plans and regulatory compliance to ensure quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care.
