Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center seeks an experienced Nursing Unit Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit and lead a team of nurses and nursing assistants. This role is ideal for an RN or LPN with skilled nursing experience looking to advance into leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Supervisory or charge-nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise and support nurses and nursing assistants.
• Ensure high-quality care per individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Participate in resident assessments and care plan meetings.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with staffing, training, and performance management.
• Support infection control and quality assurance initiatives.
• Prepare unit for state and federal surveys and inspections.
