Job summary

Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Nursing Unit Manager to lead a long-term care nursing unit. You will oversee daily clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality resident care in alignment with care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned long-term care unit.
  • Supervise, support, and provide direction to nurses and nursing assistants.
  • Ensure residents receive high-quality care in accordance with care plans.
  • Monitor changes in resident conditions and communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Participate in care plan meetings and resident assessments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and regulations.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, performance management, and ongoing education.
  • Support infection-control, quality-assurance, and risk-management initiatives.
  • Prepare the unit and staff for government surveys and regulatory inspections.

Nursing Unit Manager

Location: Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center,

Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Unit Manager to lead a long-term care nursing unit. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned long-term care unit

  • Supervise, support, and provide direction to nurses and nursing assistants

  • Ensure residents receive high-quality care in accordance with their care plans
