Job summary
QLI is seeking an experienced Nursing Leader to serve as Coordinator of Nursing. You will guide nurses and medication aides, cultivate a strong culture, and ensure high-quality resident care.
The role focuses on leadership, staff development, and maintaining safety and compliance across shifts. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to advance team competency, onboarding, and ongoing education while ensuring coverage and a supportive work environment for a diverse care team at our
Qualifications
- RN license to practice in Nebraska (or compact license).
- Current CPR certification.
- Prior nursing leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Prior TBI, SCI, CVA experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support nursing and medication aide team members daily.
- Protect and reinforce QLI's culture and mission.
- Assist with staffing coverage and scheduling for resident needs.
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nurses and med aides.
- Serve as an on-call resource and provide off-shift supervision as needed.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on team development and compliance.
