Job summary

Team QLI in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced Coordinator of Nursing to lead and empower a diverse team of nurses and medication aides. You will foster a strong culture, ensure high-quality resident care, and support staffing, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.

As on-site leadership, you will partner with the Director of Nursing on competency, compliance, and care initiatives, while remaining available for on-call coverage to meet resident needs and promote a collaborative work

Qualifications

Current RN license to practice in Nebraska (or compact license).
Current CPR certification.
Prior nursing leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
Prior TBI, SCI, CVA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Leading, coaching, and supporting nursing and medication aide team members on a day-to-day basis.
Protecting and reinforcing QLI's culture and mission.
Assisting with staffing coverage and scheduling to ensure resident needs are met.
Supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nurses and med aides.
Serving as an on-call resource and providing off-shift supervision as needed.
Partnering with the Director of Nursing on team development, competency, and compliance initiatives.
