Job summary

QLI in Omaha, NE seeks a Coordinator of Nursing to lead and support our nursing and medication aide teams on-site. You will foster a strong, patient-centered culture, coach staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality care while progressing professionally.

This leadership role collaborates with the Director of Nursing on staffing, onboarding, competency, and compliance initiatives; participates in on-call coverage and acts as a steady resource beyond standard hours.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in Nebraska (or compact) required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Prior nursing leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior TBI, SCI, CVA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and supporting nursing and medication aide team members on a day-to-day basis.
• Protecting and reinforcing QLI's culture and mission.
• Assisting with staffing coverage and scheduling to ensure resident needs are met.
• Supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nurses and med aides.
• Serving as an on-call resource and providing off-shift support and supervision as needed.
• Partnering with the Director of Nursing and Clinical Leadership on team development, competency, and compliance initiatives.
