Job summary

Qualified candidates include CNAs with a HS diploma, EMTs/Paramedics, or nursing students enrolled in approved programs. Employees awaiting NCLEX or who recently failed NCLEX may be considered, per policy.

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT or Paramedic required; or CNA with HS diploma or equivalent with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Nursing student currently enrolled in an approved program for preparation of professional nurses or LPNs.
• Current employees who have completed nursing program and are awaiting NCLEX authorization to test (up to 90 days).
• Current employees who have completed nursing program and have been unsuccessful in passing NCLEX (up to 6 months).
• CNAs with instructor recommendation from approved CNA training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse with routine procedures under supervision.
• Provide nursing support to help achieve excellent patient care.
• Advocate for patients and contribute to a climate of trust and collaboration.
