Qualifications

• Licensed EMT or Paramedic credential required/preferred
• CNA with HS diploma or equivalent; 1 year patient care experience preferred
• Nursing student enrolled in a program; clinical didactic portion completed
• Current employees awaiting NCLEX authorization to test may apply (up to 90 days)
• CNA training program for junior/senior high school students with instructor recommendation

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with routine procedures under supervision.
• Provide nursing support and patient care to advance patient advocacy.
• Contribute to activation of the care plan under supervision and guidance of RN.
• Follow safe practices and maintain patient comfort and safety during care.
