Job summary

SolutionHealth seeks an RN Nursing Supervisor for the Transfer Center at Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH. This leadership role oversees admissions/transfers and coordinates patient flow to optimize bed availability and continuity of care.

You will supervise nursing teams, mentor staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups to prioritize emergent and urgent placements. A BSN, NH-compact or multistate RN license, and 5 years of charge nurse experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current NH, compact, or multistate RN licensure required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of charge nurse experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Clinical experience strongly preferred; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in transfer center or coordination role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact with patient care areas, assess staffing needs and clinical concerns; allocate resources as needed.
• Identify and resolve issues; notify leaders; support and direct in critical situations; debrief after events.
• Act as traffic controller in patient flow; assign patients to units from all entry points.
