Elliot Health System in New Hampshire is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for the Transfer Center to lead nursing operations and coordinate admissions, transfers, and bed management. This role ensures alignment with standards, enhances patient flow, and supports staff development in a busy acute care setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current NH, compact, or multistate RN licensure required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of charge nurse experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Critical care and supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior transfer center or coordination experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain contact with patient care areas, assess staffing needs and clinical concerns; allocate resources as needed.
• Resolve issues, notify leaders as appropriate; support in critical or emergent situations and debrief after events.
• Act as traffic controller in patient flow, assigning patients to units from all entry points.
• Efficiently manage patient transfer process with transferring facilities for smooth transitions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize placements and optimize outcomes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to care teams; foster excellence and continuous improvement.
• Supervise nursing teams; ensure staffing and resources meet patient needs.
• Perform patient placement for all entry points, internal and external.
