Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide frontline leadership and ensure quality patient care. The role oversees daily operations, mentors staff, and champions our Safety Culture while coordinating care across disciplines.

You will monitor patient conditions, manage care plans, and support discharge planning with the healthcare team, ensuring alignment with the Nurse Practice Act and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• RN with Kentucky license required upon hire.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Ensures staff compliance with department policies and procedures.
• Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Educates patients and families based on age, culture, and learning needs.
• Follows physician and nursing orders and Nurse Practice Act requirements.
