Job summary

The successful candidate will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with administration, and serve as in-charge in absence of senior management. Familiarity with MS Word/Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in long-term care facility
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and guidelines for long-term care
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and other computer skills

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of nursing care
• Ensure residents receive care identified to meet their health care needs
• Ensure nursing department policies and procedures are followed by staff
• Act as person in charge of the facility in the absence of senior management
