Job summary

UMC Health System in Lubbock, Texas seeks a Supervisor, House RN to coordinate nursing services across designated units and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires overseeing staffing, training, and engagement, with collaboration across physicians and the care team.

Qualified candidates will hold a BSN and have 4+ years of nursing practice, plus a Texas RN license (or compact license). BLS/ACLS certification and notary registration are required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• 4+ years nursing practice or leadership experience preferred.
• Valid Texas RN license or eligible compact license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve patient care and staffing levels.
• Coordinate patient flow and staffing with Nursing Administration.
• Participate in staff training, coaching, and engagement activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Perform quality improvement tasks and identify process improvements.
• Oversee Nursing Resource pool and after-hours health exposures.
