Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead the Ortho Spine, ENT, and Joint Surgical units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.

You will provide work direction, optimize patient flow, and partner with physicians, staff, and leadership to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in nursing, is a licensed RN in Wisconsin, has a current BLS certification, and has at least three years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of RN experience (not for new grads).
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice (Wisconsin).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides work directions to staff to coordinate resources for procedures and day-to-day operations.
• Promotes quality patient care and advocates for patient and staff rights.
• Facilitates communication among patients, families, hospital departments, and medical staff; acts as liaison and problem-solver.
