Job summary

Ohio Living seeks a Charge Nurse - LPN to supervise CNAs and ensure high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting. You will coordinate nursing services, administer medications, and participate in care planning meetings with the interdisciplinary team.

Applicants should hold a current LPN license in Ohio, have clinical experience, and be proficient with EMR systems. Supervisory experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current unencumbered LPN license for Ohio.
• One year of clinical experience in hospital or long-term care preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs.
• Assists in coordinating nursing services to ensure resident care continuity.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Represents the nursing department during Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.
• Provides direct nursing care as needed.
• Notifies physicians and families when a resident’s condition changes.
• Monitors adherence to policies and procedures and supports staffing needs.
