Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Chester, NJ is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead assigned nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care in a 24/7 inpatient setting.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS or completion within 6 months, with CRRN eligibility. You will use EPIC for documentation, coordinate care with the care team, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Certified BLS required.
• ACLS or completion in the first 6 months of employment required.
• CRRN required after meeting eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Together, we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Schedule: Full-Time Day / 7AM - 7PM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)

Compensation: $52.00 - $67.93 (Based on Experience) + Shift Differential

Minimum Requirements

• Valid State RN License required

• One or more years' experience in managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred.
