Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is hiring a full-time Nursing Supervisor (RN) for day shift. The position offers full benefits, a competitive base pay, and a generous shift differential, with a 36-hour work week and flexible scheduling.

The Nursing Supervisor will oversee nursing care on all units, adjust staffing, supervise RNs and techs, coordinate admissions and discharges, and ensure safe codes and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Requires minimum of two (2) years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum one (1) year in psychiatric nursing.
• One (1) year of nursing supervision experience required.
• Current NC State Licensed Nurse (or compact state).
• AHA CPR & First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of quality nursing care on all units during assigned shift.
• Adjust staffing for evening, night and weekend shifts.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and/or seclusion; relieve for break or meals.
• Manage Registered Nurses and Mental Health Technicians on the unit.
• Coordinate all medical codes, real or mock, and ensure safe execution.
