Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide overall direction and leadership for the Hospital on Long Island. This role reports to the Vice President of Nursing and requires strong clinical leadership and regulatory oversight.

The ideal candidate holds an NYS RN license with a BSN (MSN preferred) and 2–5 years of leadership experience in acute care. Competitive compensation includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Job Details

Our Nursing Supervisor will:

• Be responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the Hospital.
• Be accountable for the fiscal and operational aspects of the Hospital.

• Be responsible for the standard of practice utilized on the patient care areas.
• Act as the Administrator on duty for the Hospital in the absence of the President or Vice President.
• Report to the Vice President/Assistant Vice President of Nursing.

Qualifications:

• NYS RN license and registration required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two to five years clinical experience with demonstrated leadership abilities, ability to work under stressful situations, and possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Previous Clinical Nursing Supervision experience in an acute care, hospital based setting preferred.

Salary Range

USD $64.10 - USD $74.35 /Yr.
