University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks a Nursing Supervisor for Cooper Green Mercy’s ambulatory services. You will lead daily clinic operations, oversee on-call staffing, and ensure compliance with state and accreditation standards.

The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate with Alabama RN license and 2 years of related experience; CPR/BLS is required with ACLS preferred. This is a Day/1st Shift position involving budget awareness and quality improvement participation.

Competenze

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• A current Alabama RN license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required; ACLS certification preferred.

• Serves as the designated on-call nursing supervisor, providing clinical, operational, and administrative leadership.
• Evaluates and improves clinic flow; oversees day-to-day clinic operations of designated clinics/departments.
• Collaborates with and provides administrative support to ambulatory services leadership.
• Responsible for creating, evaluating, leading, and supervising role-specific duties for clinic staff.
• Participates in quality improvement projects and reports QA data and audits to leadership.
• Assists in the annual budget process and monitors budget adherence.
