Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• BSN required; Master's Degree in Nursing or related field strongly preferred.
• Current RN License in Massachusetts.
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
• 5 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations of the Nursing Department on the off-shift.
• Collaborate with off-shift nursing resources to ensure quality patient care.
• Monitor overall quality standards of the off-shift.
• Implement, review, and revise patient care policies and nursing standards.
• Provide guidance to nursing, medical, and support staff on the off-shift.
• Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with interdepartmental personnel.
• Facilitate allocation of central resources in collaboration with Staffing Coordinators.
• Monitor bed occupancy demands and collaborate to facilitate patient flow.
• Assist in the development of financial proposals for off-shift programs.
• Contribute to the educational and professional development of staff nurses.
