Job summary

Yuba City Post Acute seeks an experienced LPN/LVN nurse supervisor to oversee nursing assistants, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate resident care in a long‑term care setting. You will review procedures, plan shifts, and contribute to QA activities while ensuring high-quality resident outcomes.

The role requires leadership, an active nursing license, and PCC familiarity, with daily oversight of nursing operations and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Review the department's policies and make recommendations for revisions.
• Meet with nursing staff to plan shifts, services, and activities.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure updates.
• Complete accident/incident reports and reports to the Director.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the facility's quality assurance program.
• Admission, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure residents' total care.
