Job summary

(Egret Cove Center) SS Pinellas VII Community HC, LLC is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise nursing assistants, coordinate shifts, and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on involvement in care planning, charting, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Must possess Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, active LPN/LVN license to practice in this state.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability; capable of coordinating staff and resident care.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret nursing programs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure care complies with policies.
• Plan shifts, services, and activities; update Nursing Service Procedures Manual and discharge plans.
• Maintain documentation: charting, orders, and nursing notes; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Administer medications as ordered; manage narcotic records and safety procedures.
• Lead staff development, conduct performance evaluations, and manage staffing requirements.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with physicians, residents, and families; respond to incidents and changes in resident condition.
