Job summary

EGRETCOVE is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities at the facility during your tour of duty, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role includes assisting the Director of Nursing, maintaining policies, coordinating with staff, and participating in quality assurance and discharge planning.

The RN will oversee staffing, administer nursing duties, ensure patient safety, and report to the administration as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in directing day-to-day nursing functions and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update the Nursing Service Manual, policies, and procedures to reflect current practice.
• Coordinate with other resident services to ensure continuity of care and participate in the facility's quality assurance program.
• Oversee staff scheduling, assignments, and performance to maintain appropriate staffing levels and care quality.
• Document and report on nursing operations, incidents, and discharge planning in a timely and accurate manner.
