Job summary

The Shores of Lake Phalen, a Sonida Senior Living community in Maplewood, MN, seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee resident care in a skilled nursing/extended care setting. You will ensure adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements while guiding the nursing team to deliver compassionate care.

Position requires an RN or LPN license and at least two years of long-term care supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two-year professional nursing experience in long-term care setting.
• Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
• Requires LPN/LVN or RN license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice, company, and facility philosophy of care and practices while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff. Monitors practices for effective implementation and achievement of results.
• Gathers and analyzes facts, assesses situations, develops, and implements appropriate actions to investigate, notify appropriate parties, resolve issues, record facts properly, and prevent future reoccurrence.
