Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required for Magnet facilities.
• 1 year RN experience or 2 years LPN in acute care.
• Current RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care for critically ill or injured patients.
• Assess risks and benefits of medical interventions and provide life-saving care when needed.
• Organize and supervise coordinated patient care within the unit.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned nursing staff and technicians.
• Promote evidence-based nursing protocols and practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing and resource planning.
• Support daily clinical operations, scheduling and supplies.
