Ochsner Health seeks an experienced nurse to oversee patient care planning and ensure evidence-based nursing interventions across a unit. You will coordinate care, supervise licensed nurses and care team members, and contribute to effective discharge planning for diverse patient populations.

Required BSN and active RN license in the state of practice, with BLS certification. Magnet facility standards apply, and supervisory experience is preferred for progression.

Qualifications

• BSN required for all Ochsner Magnet Facilities.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be from American Heart Association.

• Organizes and coordinates patient care within the unit.
• Manages conflicts on shift and reports issues to leadership as needed.
• Facilitates staff needs while aligning with unit strategy.
